What we collect

When you generate a report, we collect the information you enter in the form:

• Driving details: monthly miles, MPG, gas price, car payment amount
• Reimbursement rate: your IRS or company per-mile rate
• Location: ZIP code (used to estimate local gas prices)
• Contact info: name and email address (used to deliver your report)

If you subscribe to our monthly digest, we also store your email address for that purpose. If you purchase a report, your payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

We use the information you provide for one purpose: generating your personalized vehicle comparison report and sending it to you. Specifically:

• Your driving inputs are used to calculate cost-per-mile and net take-home figures for each vehicle
• Your ZIP code is used to estimate local gas prices in your area
• Your email is used to deliver your PDF report
• If you opt in, your email is used to send the monthly digest

What we don't do

We will never:

• Sell your personal data to third parties
• Share your information with advertisers or data brokers
• Use your data to build advertising profiles
• Contact you for anything other than your requested report and opted-in updates

We are not in the business of monetizing your data. Our business is selling reports — your personal information is a means to deliver that product, not a product in itself.

Email communications

If you provide your email address, we may send you:

• Your personalized PDF report (always, immediately)
• Monthly gas price updates and IRS rate changes (only if you subscribed)
• Occasional updates about major changes to our vehicle data

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time at drivonomics.com/unsubscribe. We respect unsubscribes immediately — you will not receive further emails after opting out.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Drivonomics:

• Stripe — payment processing. Your card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored by us. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend — email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend to deliver your report. Resend does not use this data for advertising.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking pixels. We do not embed third-party advertising scripts.

Data retention

We retain order records (including the driving data you entered) for up to 12 months for customer support purposes. Subscriber email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond within 5 business days.

If you are in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Contact us and we will assist you in exercising those rights.
